Negatives: The script/storyline was too predictable, seen before, of a singer reestablishing their career. Acting by all but Ross was very scripted mechanical and not believable. Musical productions whether on stage or in the studio seemed like cheap filler, and sameness repeated too often. Usual romance for those needing that hook to spice up the drama, but again came across as staged.
